Delete your GlobeSO data

Applies to the GlobeSO app for iOS and Android, globeso.com, and to “Continue with Facebook” and “Sign in with Apple” ភាសាខ្មែរ ↓

Delete your account yourself (immediate)

1. Open the GlobeSO app, or sign in at globeso.com.
2. Go to Account → Delete account and confirm.

This erases straight away your profile, name and photo, posts (with their photos and videos), comments, likes, follows, favourites, browsing history, reviews, saved addresses, cart, notifications, sign-in sessions and the link to your Facebook or Apple account, and unpublishes any shop products. If your wallet still holds money, spend or withdraw it first. Orders and payments are kept under the name “Deleted user” only as long as accounting and tax law requires, because they are also the seller’s records.

Signed in with Facebook?

From Facebook we receive only your Facebook user id (for this app), your name and, if you allow it, your e-mail address. We use them to sign you in and to fill in your name. Deleting your GlobeSO account (above) deletes them. You can also remove GlobeSO from Facebook: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → GlobeSO SuperApp → Remove. After that, the next sign-in with Facebook asks for your phone again.

Cannot open the app?

E-mail [email protected] with the subject “Delete my GlobeSO account” and the phone number of the account. We confirm it is your account through that phone number and delete it within 30 days, then reply to confirm.
